Why open a Microgreen STORE in Mansfield?
Since 2020, I’ve been slowly investing in Mansfield and the surrounding communities like Davidson and Fort-Coulonge. My associates and I have developed an investment strategy that utilizes information from Statistics Canada and guides us in making sound investment decisions.
One region that stood out in particular was the Outaouais region, but why? First off, I found the name fascinating! ‘Outaouais’ what the heck does that mean!? Turns out its history can be tracked back to the Ottawa river. Outaouais is just the French pronunciation of ‘Ottawa’ which was derived from the name of the Indigenous tribe that settled the region who were named ‘Odawa’, so there’s a bit of history for you.
The above history helps us understand why this river-bound region has such a rich history of culture and trade. If you live in the Outaouais region, you know you’ve struck gold. It’s pretty much like winning the lottery in terms of living in a Canadian paradise.
If you’re reading this and haven’t had a chance to visit or explore this incredible area, take a look at a few of the landscape shots below.
…According to statistics canada, the vacancy rate in the pontiac region is close to 0%.that means people don’t want to leave the outaouais region which is understandable after glancing at the pictures above.
‘Food is the best medicine’
Did you know that Quebecers are more likely to agree that “food is the best medicine” compared to Canadians overall.
Quebecers hold a unique relationship with food compared to the rest of the country. While the average Canadian under 45 years old leans more towards believing that it is healthier to graze throughout the day than to eat three square meals, Quebecers are much less inclined to agree with this sentiment, suggesting that taking time to eat meals and the inherent value placed on food may be more sacred for Quebec.
Indeed, results from Mintel’s Dining Out Canada 2016 report show that Quebecers are less likely to eat at casual dining restaurants and show a greater preference for full-service restaurants than the average Canadian. There may also be a greater awareness of the nourishing qualities of food itself; Quebecers are much more inclined to agree with the sentiment that “food is the best medicine”, as compared to the rest of the country. With such a focus on a healthy lifestyle and the weight placed on quality food, it’s easy to see why Mansfield Microgreens will fit nicely within the community.

Overall, people who have the opportunity to spend time in the Outaouais region don’t want to leave. The comfort can be felt across the region and those from the area develop strong familial bonds and long lasting friendships, why would anyone leave?
With access to all the major amenities such as gyms, super stores, fast food chains, shopping malls and the convenience of being a short drive away from the nation’s capital, I can’t think of a better place to invest!
….40% of people are diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives and 1 in 4 deaths are caused from some sort of heart disease. I want to help by making superfoods accessible to the people closest to me and that’s why I started Mansfield Microgreens.
